Default New Member - on Scion Life!

Hey - Just wanted to say hi to everyone on the board.

I'm new here and just picked up a Scion TC. Currently it is bone stock and I am just looking at some of the TCs in these forums to get some ideas what we should do to it. I currently have the wheels on order, suspension, and some interior pieces. I will fill you the scionlife guys in on this project! We'll see what we can come up with!

I have a lot on my wish list! So we'll see what I can do.

Wish me luck.

Seems like a real fun to play with.

Actually I do have one - Do you know if the 2.0 Limited Edition Front Grill will work on all Scion TC? They look different to me but my eyes can be playing tricks on me.

yes, it will fit
but dont expect it to be cheap
since its RS grille (eventhough its poopy looking) it will be pricey (most likely)

Welcome to the fam! What color tC did you get? (It probably doesn't matter because your probably going to custom paint it maybe? ) Again, congrats on your new purchase.

Hey, welcome to scionlife! I myself am a new member, just got a CSM tC last monday. Im really liking it so far! I'm thinking about a CAI first, but theres no CARB legal one yet, and I live in San Diego, so I dont feel like changing it out everytime I get a fix-it ticket! Well, have a good one!

welcome!...btw, the RS1.0 grills are flat black and way better looking imo (although the paint peels so a powder coat is in order).

also, the RS2.0 grills are chrome....again...chrome, and really shiny chrome at that.

apparently there is a region in this country where a chrome grill is appropriate and even liked;

okay, i know....i know....i have an inappropraite disdain for chrome. ;)

chrome belongs on chrysler 300s, not tCs.

I am also new and just picked up my TC RS2 a week ago. I love it! It's so much fun to drive and I get lots of looks on the road. I am getting some accessories put on tomorrow like the TYC rear tail lights. I think it will give the rear of the car a totally different look.

Yea I have no intention in getting the black grill. Some people like the "bling" effect. Nothing wrong w/ it. My theme just consist of a more dimmer color you can say.

I'm just waiting on the suspension, rims, lip kit and turbo. I will post pics of the before and after. The lip kit is not coming in till June. Hopefully all my parts are installed and running properly by then.

I'll do my best to inform you guys step by step.
