i accidentally hit a post whiile parking and it shatters my left side mirror signal light and paint chips on my side mirror. How much do you guys think does it cost for a side mirror to be repaired. Not too major, but not sure if my platinum warranty would cover it.

the dealer sells the mirror alone. im actually selling my housing with mirror for a 100 bucks if your interested...the only thing missing is a cover.

well i know when a car took my mirror off on the side it was hanging there it cost me about 330 to get a new one and painted from the dealer

damm 330? I paid like 160 or so already painted and ready to put on from mcgeorges

If you go to the dealership, you'll have to order a whole new mirror assembly, the drivers side costs $196 before taxes.

dude mcgeorgeparts.com its 154 shipped. and easy install. all you do is pry out the part where the sidemirror is on the door. and then unbolt the screws. unplug the socket for the turn signal and then put the new one in. and BAM good as new.

yup, the install takes about 1 min. flat.
really simple to do, dont let the dealership charge $90 to install it.

or if your cheap like me and can stand having a ding or 2 in the cover just by the blinker itself for I think like, $32.00 and replace that only. I believe (it was along time ago) it was a Megroege

i need only a driver side blinker cover itself ,the clear plastic cover part that blinks,,mine is cracked ,,where can i get one?

is it hard to replace the side mirror blinker cover only? not the whole mirror assembly,I cracked the clear plastic blinker cover,I bought a new one but dont know how to install it? any help would be apreciated,,I went to a body shop and he said he needs to take off the whole mirror assembly,,is this true? the dealer wants $90,,

This will show you kind of how to go about it. the guy takes just the lens off. if you pop the cover in the right spots with a Flat head Screw Driver then you will see just how easy it is to replace.
