is it bad to drive a brand new car on the freeway for 2 hrs? i get my 2.0 tomrw and i have to go to the bay area on saturday so i dont kno if i should take my new car or a different car.. what if i dont go over 70mph and i change my speed every 5 mins?

This will prob. turn into another break in discussion, but i will comment...

You dont want to keep teh RPM's in the same place for too long when you are breaking in, so if you must drive it, then go 65 for a while, then go a lil slower, then a bit faster, do what you must, but vary the RPMs and dont go too much over 4, thats my 3 cents.

You should be fine. I'm sure traffic between Sac and SF should help you vary your speed. :wink:

Well it depends what time too. When theres no traffic, you could go 75+ the whole time. Just try to vary your RPM.

yea i met up wit Tongman last week... he was going to buy a viper series alarm from me... never heard back yet tho
