Default For those with aftermarket intakes with oil type air filters

I have had a very unstable idle at times and sometimes have had misses. I found out it was my Mass Airflow sensor was dirty from the air filter oil. I bought some mass airflow sensor cleaner and decided to try it b/c my car has 19000 on it to see if it would help and it fixed my idle and my slight miss I have had the last 1000 miles. This is just a little info. It wouldn't hurt to clean in even if you aren't having problems but if you are its a easy fix if its your problem.

You can also use electronic contact cleaner. That works well too.

I use the AEM dry flow filtet. Looks good and performs.

We're adding the filter to our site today, but can get it to you anytime you'd like via email/special order. The filter costs $45 plus shipping. We can get almost anything out there but continue to add more to our site on a daily basis. If you have any questions let us know.

hmm.. nice...

i maybe planning on replacing my Injen one with it in the future.

i recently cleaned and re-oiled my Injen filter, but haven't had any troubles with oil dirtying the MAF yet... i though i might've over-oiled it too... *knocks on wood*

DryFilter kicks butt.

anyway... umm.. the inlet for the injen is 3" though right?
which would be the 21-203DK instead... *shrugs*

So the AEM dry filter can replace the Injen filter and still keep the same CAI from Injen or do you have to change the entire CAI system?

Yea, I also have the Injen CAI. I would like to know if the AEM dry filter can replace the Injen filter?

I have the aem dryflow and have nothing but good things to say. Also to the question above the aem dryflow comes in many different sizes so just pick the same size as the injen filter and it will be a perfect fit.

^^ yeah.. that's why i was asking.. i think the inlet is 3" for the Injen, which AEM does sell one.. which i posted the part # for it..

i was mostly asking Dezod if i was right about the injen's size, and if he'll carry that size for the injen users since he seems to only have the 2.5" inlet one.
