Breaking In The xB
Since My xB which i ordered will be fresh off the boat and have almost no miles on it how would you go about breaking it in......I have heard for the first 1,000 miles dont go over 55mph but i am just cuirous what its recomended in the xB?

I got my 06 xB fresh off the boat too and I ran it pretty hard, I didn't baby it at all

As the article states, engines are a lot different than they use to be. Don't baby it--run at different speeds if possible. You will get a lot of debate also on when to change the oil. Some say at 1,000 the first time and some will say 3 or 5 thousand miles. Oil is cheap I would do it at 3 thousand the first time at least. Good luck with your box!
yup, agreed, no babying. Rapidly accelerate to speed limit several times here and there.
Changing the oil is really personal preference. I changed mine first at 500 miles, then 1500, then 3000, and have thus changed it every 3000 miles since.
