everytime im in a drive throu or atm whatever my fan kick in do the motors run this hot or what or is it just my xb or is it scions in general ..doesnt seem like they should b on that fast i mean if i was driving for hours or something and it was hot yeah but to leave my house get food and i hear it in the drive throu is that normal????????????????
yeah its normal...i don't know the technical aspects of it but mine does it all the time and i've heard other peoples doing it too

kool i didnt want to b already having problems under 5000 miles.....but did get a ticket doin 84 on the santan between dobson n price
Yes it is normal. Bryan from camelback let us know this was going to happen during our "going through the new car speach" when we purchased our xB.

if your a/c is on then yeah it will continue to run on and off, it has to keep the freon cool at a stand still (drive thrus etc). if your not running the a/c then it wouldnt run constantly, atleast mine dosent....

but why thou any other car ive had never did unless it was very hot... is the fan weak or something or does the lil 1.5 run that hot
Have you seen the size of the radiator in our rides they are not that big and look where its getting its circulation from.. the bread slots in the bumper.. The grill is not a grill but just a decore for our rides.. so figure sitting in one spot here in Az its alot hotter than you think for a car... that the fan \"on\" is probally set at 165 degrees (not sure so don\'t quote me) so it will cycle on/off alot to try to keep it at that point. N2htwlz is right when the a/c is on the fan will cycle on/off more to help the a/c do its job.
