Default To high PSI in stock xB tires - low speed howl?

Ok, I'm at my wits end with this ;)

Yesterday I had brought my xB (stock, no mods) to the dealer because I was experiencing an issue with when I turned RIGHT in parking lots to park in a spot, I got this weird howl/whistle noise that didn't sound like any tire noise IVE ever heard. So they said that they greased all the suspension parts, etc - and that should fix it.

Then I drive it home, and HOWL, same noise upon parking. Before getting fed up and driving right back to the dealer - I decided to try something. I dropped the PSI in the tires down to around 30-32 (It appeared to be closer to 37). I haven't heard the noise now expect for a TINY bit this morning after the morning commute when parking in a right facing spot (but MUCH less than before).

Is it possible that PSI being too high could cause what I'm talking about? Does anyone have experience w/this?

my wheel well on the drivers side popped out of place and was rubbing until i pushed it back into place..... maybe yours is the same and when you let the air down the tire shrunk enough to clear the rubbing area better

Maybe!! That's the most logical explanation I've heard yet on this subject. How did you pop it back into place?
