Default Salvaged titled xB on eBAY for 10K!!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6059

hope this link works.

Why would anybody buy a Salvaged titled xB for 10K? HELLO!-salvage titled cars are worth 1/2 the price of a non salvaged titled car!! and besides that-you could buy a brand new one for 14k!!

I think its funny-because if you bought this one off ebay for 10k- you would have to put at least 2k into it to make in like new.....

they should just part that out.....

9,100 ____ thats not worth it....

if it was 6-7 grand it would be better..... i would buy that engine and rip it apart....
then make parts likr rods and pistons or try to do something like a crvtec motor

Salvaged cars are best bought by movie studios who want to get a car cheap so that they can destroy it, like the Ford Exolorers on Jurassic Park that got mangled and dropped off a cliff by the T rex. They were salvaged cars. But almost 10 grand for a salvaged car thats base price is 14 grand is ridiculous. It would be better and probably cheaper in the long run to just buy a stock one brand new.

thats totally a good deal. it just has a salvage title cuz it was in a flood. its not like it was wrecked or anything.

Yea thats a good price and all, but there are some things to put into consideration. Have the electronics been harmed in any way and that car is ALWAYS going to have a strange odor in it. I would never buy something like that, just shell out the extra 5 grand and have a brand new Xb with a warranty (you won't have one of those with a salvage title)

Umm, a salvage title is worth 1/2 of wholesale book. If you bid anywhere near 9K you are nuts. A new xB 5 speed is 14195, 5K more for a new xB with 0 miles.

Put it this way... add another 5K = brand new xB

But with this xB... adding 5K = full body kit, lowered, nice set of wheels and maybe a new paint job or recondition the whole car.

No one know it is a salvaged right? Plus cheaper insurance yeah??

And sometimes people want a new car but cannot even afford a brand new xB... for those people this is one opportunity for a car that should last than whatever beater they are driving now.

Plus no financing yeah? Lower insurance No? Bad choice? Yeah! Salvage title = worthless car. NOT nearly worth what it is selling for. Wish I could pick one up for about what it is worth 6-7K and sell it on ebay to someone silly

if they were selling it for 6k i could easily buy it and make it a project car

ie= motor swap custom interior....etc

Salvaged cars have No warranty and some cost more to insure....

Its like buying a old carin a new cars shell....

IMO totally not worth it.... You see the water in the headlights????

YUCK that water was high!!!

If the water was high enough to penetrate the lights, imagine what other mechanicals received a thorough soaking!

Anyone care to guess how watertight our doors are? Nothing like mold in the carpet padding for a nice healthy driving experience!

Do brakes, exhausts/cat and the trans respond well to a lengthy immersion in murky flood waters? I wouldn't think so...

Just double checked EBay and the car's no longer for sale... did some sucker actually buy that thing for $9K+???
