I just installed my amp n sub on sunday; it was working fine until i turned off my car to get gas n it stopped working after i started it up again. The fuse on the amp is fine n the wires doesnt seem to b lose. My radio n speakers r working fine too, do you guys know what might b the problem?

Maybe it over heated. Are any light's on when the headunit is on? Or maybe the blue wire comoing from the headunit to the amp got disconnected.

The LED light on the amp's not on. It's not over heated either, I only had it on for like 10min before I got to the gas station. I'm thinking it might b the ground, but I'm not sure.

Check the remote wire from the headunit to determine if it is turning the amp on. Another thing .. does it work when the radio is on, but not when listening to a cd or mp3? If that is the case, you may have hooked the power antenna wire to the antenna remote instead of the remote wire.

Thanks guys! I found out what it was, the ground is attached but the screw came a lil loose so it wasn't completely touching the wire

What do you have it grounded to? Or was it the screw in the amp that came loose?

I grounded to one of the screws in the trunk

Find you a good solid screw.. then scrape the paint off around it, and to really make it hold, use a star washer. Then tighten it good and tight. That will hold well and provide a good ground.

Actually, I think, if it will reach, that the seat bracket bolts are a better bet for you ground-wise.

I'll take a look into that this weekend. Thanks for advice!
