Do you guys think they fixed the roof rattle on the 2007? Whoever has the 2007. Have you had any rattling that older tc owners have talked about?

 

probably "fixed", but i bet each car is different. i have an 05 and no rattles. btw, i typed "07 and roof and rattle" into search ^ up there, and got 117 matches. i say to go and explore

 

I have an 06, it rattles......when open all the way, but i just turn up my stereo.

 

I have an '07, never heard a roof rattle yet. But the VENT squeek is what's driving me up the wall, like someone running their fingernails on a chalkboard. I did a search on this, so I'm gonna fix it this weekend. Thanx

 

I have an 07 as well. Never heard the rattle that 05 - 06 owners complain about.


VENT? You mean the radio cover door? I had that squeaking. I just put hot glue on the parts that were mentioned in the how to for getting rid of the squeak. It worked fine for me.

 

i have an 07 and yes the sunroof rattles when open in the first position where it's just tilted. it rattles so bad that i only drive wit the sunroof open to the 2nd position or closed. that's the only rattle i've heard so far but then i've only had the car since the 8th so time will tell

 

No sunroof rattle on my 06 but I do have hatch rattle. (minor though)

It's probably the same thing as the previous years... some people have it... some don't.

 

i have a 06... and it does sometimes... i'm too lazy to work on it...

 

The only rattle I have is the radio door which only happens occassionally.

 

Yep, some people have it, some don't. Even the release series - some have it, some don't. I have a moonroof rattle - just my luck.

 

I tried the radio door theory, didn't work. There is a post here somewhere that shows pics of the upper right VENT above the radio squeeking, I believe that where the noise in my car is at.
