Default Swapping for 07 SW tc manual tomorrow

swapping my 06 auto FM for 07 manual SW tomorrow. anyone know if the LED (console and gauges) mod still works on the 07's?

btw what do you guys think of these options:

ground effects
lip spoiler
trd lowered springs
trd performance brake pads
sport pedals
trd quick shifter

even with all this ____ tacked on my monthly payment should stay ~350$

if money isnt an issue, i would say add on whatever you want. but if you want to save money, i'd say just get the bodykit and thats it. all the other stuff can be ordered online for almost 3/4 of dealership price but then again, you would have to install it yourself.

springs and break pads i wouldn't know how to install myself anyways. money isn't a big deal because the price difference overall is going to be less than 200$, and over 60 months, it's nothing.

the main reason i'm swapping tcs is because i want to get stick (auto getting boring and i've never had a stick) and i want to turbo it (eventually)

When is eventually as the TRD pads will probably wear out quicker then stockers and you wont need them till you slap on a turbo.

talked to IceNine... He was gonna do an LED swap on the guages and HVAC but said that 07s are different and that he needs to build a new circuit for them or something. He said he would get back to me when he has one done. Engifineer should also know... he does all that stuff...

selling my 06 w/ 15800 miles for $15.5 to the dealer. getting the 07 w/ tons of options for ~20 or 21. with downpayment, should be financing about 19. you can get a bare bone 07 manual for 17.2 so it isn't that bad if you just swap and don't get any mods

got my tc. first stick i've ever had... hard to get used to. i didn't get the lowering springs because they said that with the ground effects kit the car would be too low and scrape on hills. what do you guys think?

Im not sure how low the ground effects are, but the springs are a pretty tame drop on TRD.
You will gt used to the Manual Tranny, just keep driving!

Im sure if yu search you will find plenty of 'how to drive manual' threads.

I think you would be fine. I had two good friends in my town who have the ground and springs with no problems.

And I live in the woods/mountains.

yup, I find www.standardshift.com videos, FAQ, and their forums (especially those!) absolutely INDISPENSABLE. They are really amazing... other than an experienced stick driver right alongside you, standardshift is a GREAT resource... helped me a lot, and I've been driving stick for coming up on about two weeks now
