The past few weeks I've been noticing a moderately loud whistling/wheezing noise when I go past 70 MPH. The sound will pop on intermittently and then fade out after 2 minutes or if I go faster or slower, but the general concept is that it appears when I go past 70. I don't know if this is the much bally-hooed rattle issue because it doesn't sound like a rattle and it is emanating from the front of the car (maybe sunroof?).

Anyone have this problem as well?

 

Rattle...? No. Could be your sunroof. Have your Dealership check it out.

 

Definitely ur sunroof. They are sometimes not closed or sealed properly. have dealer check it out

yes we all have it. it whistles at a certain throttle position
it sounds cool

 

I definitely wanted to hit up the dealer, but I didn't wanna go in without at least knowing if this is a common occurence amongst other owners...

i have a god awful rattle coming from above the rear seat overhead light.

 

If it matters, I have an AT, and my buddy with his manual says he never hears any noises, but he could be blasting his iPod in the car too

 

I have the same problem and I don't know if the whistle sound is coming from the corner of the windshield or the sun roof. It usually occurs around 80 mph, but definitely over 70 mph. I called my dealer but they said they had to reproduce the sound. The problem is...they're not allowed to drive that fast in a testdrive (I offered to drive but they weren't sure if I can). I'm going to get it check this friday, but what can I tell them if they can't reproduce the sound? Help will be appreciated.
