Get a bottle of Turtlewax "Bug & Tar Remover". Works great! Also, go to your local auto parts store (AutoZone, Kragen, etc.) and pick up a clay bar kit. After using the bug & tar remover, hit it with the detailer and clay bar and you're good to go. Makes the car nice and smooooth. (This is if you are referring to bugs. As in your title.)

Hey Hyghgynx, what's clay bar?

Also, befor summer's gone, I wanna wax my tC to give it that brand new look again (it still looks new) but I've never waxed a car before in my life. Should I buy a spinner/buffer? Does anybody have a good link to refer how to properly wax a car?

...again, what's clay bar and do you need any buffers or special tools to use it, or is it like a wash?

Admittedly it's a link from a retailer of car-care products, so they're trying to sell you stuff, but it's good information nonetheless.

The link provided aids you in your question about the clay bar and kit. Very good info! Couldn't have explained it better myself!

You don't have to buy a spinner/buffer. You can do it by hand. (That's what I do.) All you need is some microfiber towels, a wax applicator, and Meguiars Gold wax. (Also, the clay bar kit and Stoner's Invisi-glass for the windows!) I like the Meguiars wax because its not very expensive ($10 a bottle) and it produces a rich, deep shine. Wax pretty much everything! Headlights. Taillights. Windows (If you dont' get the clay bar kit).

About 2 hours later, your ride will look this clean!

My tC looked A LOT better after I did all of this car care than when I picked her up at the Dealership! And I have an '05!

as an alternative to waxing the windows you can apply some rain-x, that crap is amazing in the rain! especially on the highway

you'll come to laugh at people frantically using their wipers while you go by without having even touched your wiper lever ;-)

No not my fault, It happened at work. Now what really cheeses me off is that I am very carefull when I park. I don't know if it was a rogue cart or retaliation from someone. Oh and by the way I was referring to shopping carts not bugs, lol. Any way I filed an incident report... Hopefully that goes somewhere.
