I hate waiting >.<
I've decided to wait till january to get my tC. I really want it now, but it'll give me time to pay off my credit card and get some money for a down payment.
I can't wait to get rid of my cavalier and get into a manual!!

There's nothing wrong with waiting, and if you want to start doing modifications, you'd likely have to wait for those too, so you're not missing out on anything. I'd like to jump into a tC but I have to wait til I start work soon, and even then I'd like to save more than enough money to be comfortable on payments, which would possibly be Spring 07 before I'd think of even test driving. Best of luck to ya on getting the car.

Back to the topic, I was in your position a couple of months ago. I needed a car and decided on the tc. I waited from April to August. From this experience it is worth the wait. Have time to plan out your payments, choose what options you really need in reality, you might even have time to change your mind and decide to go with another car. Well basically, "patience will reward those who wait."
^ this is exactly what i did. at first i wanted to buy a used car. like a celica, or 300zx or something. i thought my credit was jacked up. it was actually average. i then decided to get a TC. i used my entire tax return and a great chunk of 3 paychecks towards my credit cards. after i paid it off...my FICO scored skyrocketed. i felt good. i ordered my TC on July 30. im still waiting for the call...but i know it will be worth it.

I wish I had waited for my tC so that I could've gotten the side airbags... but unfortunately I had no car to begin with and needed the car soon, so I waited about 4 days for mine.
I'm still happy though. You'll be glad you waited, there's nothing like the feeling when the dealership/your salesguy calls you and says "your tC came today" :D
