Default Question.

i'm looking to put on headers but i already have the s/c installed.

i was thinking instead of having to cut the heat sheild to remove it, that i could just take the radiator out to give more room to remove the heat shield and OEM header.

i know this is more work than just cutting the heat shield, but i don't want to destroy the heat shield if i don't have to.

would the removal of the radiator give me the room i need to remove the stock header and heat shield without needing to cut it?

I would assume so...

I dont have a SC, but this is how much room I had when I removed my radiator before the actual full engine pull:
