Default Crazy question about Wheel Drive

Is it possible to convert the tC to RWD like the Evo from Tokyo Drift? I was just thinking about drift cars and how it would be pretty cool to have a tC drift car.

no clue, if you were to do that id just buy a RWD car, its like turning a 2x2 truck into a 4x4, not worth doing, would cost so much money, and you would need a engine upgrade amde for rwd not fwd

Only person that did that turned the car into a 6sec drag car (think that was Titan Motorsports) anywho it would take at way too much money, not worth it. Just get a RWD car

It's a far easier operation for an Evo because those things are already four wheel drive and are thus can be converted by simply removing the front driveshafts. The tC is front wheel drive and would therefore require huge amounts of surgery to get it converted to RWD, and by that time you've not only spent more money than if you had just bought another car, but you've also shot your resale value to hell.

Anything can be done if the budget ($$$) is right. A few years ago people were doing RWD conversions on the Ford Focus and stuffing a V-8 in them. Yeah, it made for a bada$$ sleeper, but when you add up the cost, they could have just bought a pimped-out Roush Mustang.

Thing about the Focus was it already had a driveshaft tunnel. Ours of course doesnt. Thats the key to being able to pull it off without serious cutting into the underbody. Then the obvious redesign of suspension and whatnot. Just as impractical before someone asks is also AWD, cuase you still need a driveshaft tunnel to the rear.

But ____ those Focus with the SVT Cobra Supercharged motor are SWEET!!
