Default 07 people, will you turbo right away?

Once a 07 kit is out.. How long are you guys gonna wait to turbo your car and waste the warranty. I've never had a warranty to so its a nice thing to have but at the same time I used tp drive a sr20 powered s13 240sx with 300rwhp.. So as much as I like the tc.. It aint cutting it speedwise. Also how long did you 05ers and 06ers wait to get turbo'd up.. Thanks in advance..

I guess no 07 people looking to get boosted huh.. Haha.. All the other boosted people, how long did you wait to get boosted.. Did warranty issues affect your decision or did it not matter to you guys?

That's pretty effed up.. It was the OEM lipkit? I guess if I did something to mess up the warranty I'd turbo it for sure.. But this car has to last me til I get my BA and I'm out of law school which is another 3 to 4 years.. My dad asked why I wanted a turbo and I replied.. Why not.. I think I won that argument..

I wish I had a kaminari kit.. Very ill.. I wonder how they contributed the kit to any kind of malfunction with your car.. Anybody else care to chime in on the turbo/warranty issue?

When you install just make sure you take your time and when you blow the car up that you can take it all off and put it back to stock.

That's what I was thinkin.. Or maybe make friends with someone in the service department.. I am quite charismatic... Is it hard to turn the car back to stock from turbo?

If you guys ever complain about the overly extensive investigation dealerships put into fulfilling warranty claims, it's because of fraud like this. If you blow up your car, it's your own damn fault and you better suck it up and pay it out. As goes the cliche, you have to pay to play. If you can't afford to have an engine blow up on you, don't do it.

If you've a bike or another car or something, then by all means, go ahead. And happy modding!

I believe this engine should've been built to handle boost in the first place.. Hahah j/k.. I'm hoping the 07 kit takes a long time to come out.. But knowing the zpi or dezod guys got one coming out soon enough.. I figure if your responsible it won't make a difference.. Just makes you faster.. Isn't our engine only $800 bucks anyway?

actually our engine is made for boosting. in japan some of the camrys will roll outta the factory with superchargers. one of the letter codes int he 2azfe (i think its the e) represents something about boost/forced induction. and even if you convert it back to to stock the dealer will read the ecu and the ecu will show boost so you cant do that. our ecu is freaking itelligent..almost to smart for its self.

Im just waiting for the money, so i can boost, I have 2800 miles on my TC. I have been spraying a 50 shot for the last 400 miles. I got the kit from a friend for free just incase some one asked why would i spray if im planning on boosting.

The theory behind boosting or driving hard right away has been somewhat double sided. Some people say to baby it in the beginning, others say to romp on it right away.

After the first 500 miles I'd say do what ever you want to it. Your warrantly will be void, but if you have money to turbo the car, you should have enough to fix it in case something goes wrong. Not saying it will, but it's a good thing to have.

GL and I hope you get boosted soon! It's a lot of fun.
