air bag light

Default air bag light

took the air bag out to paint the to sliver pieces , when i put it back in i got the light. will disconecting the battery clear the light ? or do i need to make a trip to the dealer? any tips thanks. :?

your lucky it didn't go off already, most likely if yuou disconnect the battery for about 5 minutes, you should be fine.

Quick question, does your horn work? I had a problem where my airbag light came on and I lost my horn as well, the dealer laid blame on the wheels that I had breaking the sprial cable on the inside. Hopefully this hasn't happened to you, it is close to $300 for a new one.

yes the horn still works. i will try the battery today .

I'm pretty sure that the dealer will have to re-set the light for you.

AHEM sorry don't believe wheels can cause an airbag light/loss of horn someone correct me if i'm wrong u better be a tech though
