So... I put in White LED's for my front turn signals and................

All my turn signals started to blink faster..... is this normal? o.O

 

did you turn your signals on and look at em. One of my aftermarket blinker was doing that too because it wasn't pushed in all the way and it used to work sometimes and other times it wouldn't do anything.

 

all my signals work fine, its actually cool that they blink faster but im wondering if its normal.

I ordered these LED's from superbrightleds

The tricky thing is... it only blinks fast (twice the speed of regular) when i put in turn

When i put in the emergency signals, they blink normally

 

You have to add a resistor because your LEDs dont draw enough current. There are kits to do this on the internet. I suggest looking for a premade one since you dont know much about it.

 

Do i really need one?

Yes. The LEDs use less voltage with less resistance. So it will blink faster. Two of my friends have done that with no ill effects.

 

They have them like that for a year.

Cool if you drive a Honda Civic. If you like it, you should have no problems other than the annoying speed of the blinker(s).

i HATE hyperblinking. but my friend has LEDs on his ranger and he's had no problems with the bulbs and it's been over a year.

 

thats a big honda ricer thing. I see it all the time. I guess if you like it keep. and no it won't damage anything. my buddy did it to his civic and has had it that way for years. I hate it but to each his own.
