intake resonator removal

i just got my TC on 7/17/04..i wanted to removed the intake resonator..my question is that is there any gain in doing this. had anyone done this to their sweet TC yet? also any DIY information would be nice.

I know a few people that used to do this on their Mustangs. They all said it made a difference, but I'm sure it's different for different cars. Proceed @ your own risk!!!
