Default I don't have to shut me car of for a error 4

I was bored and tired of getting a error 4 while stuck in traffic, so I put a swith in the glovebox that is inline with the Acc power to the radio. Now when I get a error 4 all I have to do is flip the swith on and off. Like magic the cds will play again.
Took 5 min too do.

yeah a lot of those 05's would get an Error 4.. definitely an internal circuit problem.. i like your DIY, but yeah i'd say make the dealer give you a radio that actually works correctly.

Error 4 = excess current flow

that means there is a short inside the radio and it's not regulating the flow of current inside.. not a good thing
