Stock TC: 160HP (No Mods)
Stock S4: 340HP (No Mods)

I have the S4 and my girl has the TC. I'm trying to shop for Christmas presents for her car and just curious even if I had NO LIMIT to the amount of money I spent on her 2007 Scion TC (5 speed) whats the MAX HP I will be able to maintain without blowing up the engine!

I just want to know for my curious mind, then I'll do the shopping. Thanks

I run a internet company in NH and MA so I was thinking about maxing our her HP "safely" and sponsoring her car in shows with my company name on it. I just wanted too see how much HP she could push safe I see 320. She would race it if she learned the clutch system a little better (performance clutch). Shes learning........ And she is beautiful so that puts 1 on her

She has 200 Miles on the 07 now and we already did 5 mods and still going.

 

Well 320 is going to be tough without any F/I. Since its an 07 you won't be addnig that anytime soon.

 

An 07 is actually 161 hp.. But aside from that the s4 is prolly about 280-300 to the wheels which is easily had with a turbo. And you can always get the dezod turbo or wait to see what 07 kits other companies have coming up.. But any kit with some tuning will have the tc hang with the s4 no prob

 

Not sure what the curb weight of the S4 is, but a boosted tC running around 300whp is capable of 13.0 with a good driver and tune.

Also depends on what your lookin for....The S4 is a decent luxury sports sedan in comparison to an entry level tuner crazed car. So your kinda comparing apples to oranges IMHO.

 

Sounds good. If I left my car stock I just want her to be at 300HP safely. We will wait to see what the future brings.

 

ummm did everyone forget that dezod and ZPI have 07 kits out already... you don't have to wait anymore... other than that, i'd say gimme a S4 any day... mmmm i love those cars

love the S4's, hate the price to fix anything that goes wrong on em lol. Do you have the V8 or the V6 bi turbo? My friend has a 2000 bi turbo with the APR chip and turbo bi pipe and that thing is pushing out some serious hp...something along the levels of 375awhp and 400+ft lbs/tq
