Default Tire help needed...

Ok so I'm about to hit 6,000 miles, and I'm getting ready to have my tires rotated, well, my friend was driving my car earlier today, and he said he felt something weird driving about 45 miles per hour, like that back tires were bumping as if we were running over rocks. Well, I've felt this before but thought it was no biggie. Well he had explained to me that my tires may have came out of balanced, or possibly a bent rim. I have ran over a few unexpected pot holes, but I don't think any of them were as serious as a bent rim, because the bumpiness isn't that bad, it's very little because i couldn't feel it or hear it at all.

Any suggestions or ideas? It was my guess that my tires just need to be rotated, but he said they may need to be balanced, or worse case scenarios, new rims.

If you're having them rotated at the dealer or a tire shop, just ask them to check the tire balance too. Otherwise, after you rotate them (and ensure the air pressure is correct) go for a drive and see if you notice anything wrong. If so, have the balance checked, but if everything seems ok, you're done.

The various types of weights they use to balance tires can and do come off occasionally.
