Default has any body else noticed this

I am haveing an issue with my Scion Xb automatic trans. It seems whenever I get on it and it goes to ____ it revs really high then slams into gear. I don't wanna take it to the dealer unless its something really wrong because I will have to take all my parts off it. If anyone else has had this issue or knows whats up with it give me some info

Why would you need to take parts off? Are you boosted or have you messed with the tranny in any kind of way?

No I am not boosted or messed with the tranny, I just heard about people having their warranty revoked due to after market products

If you havent done either then dont worry about taking the stuff off to go to the dealer... They have to prove in writting and in a court of law that somthing you put in damaged the transmission.. and an intake and exhaust wont cause transmission problems.. I hate Dealerships atleast mine I do..but if the car is under warranty take it to them and have them make it right.

Mine does the same thing. You are try to just pass or speed up without flooring it, but the tranny kick's down a gear and the RPM's go way up. Yeah I hate it too! I think it is the nature of the beast though, the ecu controls the down shift mech to some degree and our little engine's rev pretty fast. I also think because the mods help the engine breathe better it seem's to kick down a little easier as well.

I think this is what you are talking about? Maybe not.

It is stated in the manual that the car will not shift into Over drive until blue temperature light goes off.

made it quicker alright and made that yank even harder
