I would perfer H&R because a lot of people out there has TRD already and I like being the only ones with that spring. They are almost the same in comfort and handling. It all depends on what you would want. They have almost the same drops and probably the spring rates are pretty close that you can't even feel the difference.

if its b/w H&R id get the H&R. maybe its just me but when i was searching for springs, it looked as if there wasnt a consistent drop between the diffrent tCs that have em. some looked stock, some looked slammed to the ground (all with stock rims). so i say get the H&R, if not check out vogtland, tein, and hotchkis.

if they both have the same drop and the same ride feel, i'd say go with which one you can get for a better price. i have the trd springs and am very happy with how they settled and how they ride. i wouldnt necessarily just get the H&R because you want to be different. im not that educated on how well they perform though. seems like you have done some research, let us know what you go with and post some pix when you drop her.

$240 Area I believe...about $80 more than TRD? lol I dont think it's worth it...Just go w/ TRD.
P.S. Link I found to H&R Springs
http://www.optionimports.com/hrsuspe...ing-scion.html
Oh yah ever consider Eibach Springs? 1.4 drop all around.

Link to TRD's...Probaly not best price, but not a bad price, plus they are new and RED!!

I would never base my suspension decision off of cost. The suspension is one of the most important parts of the vehicle so don't skimp out. In this case, both companies are good and you won't have a problem with either. Just don't base your decision off of cost factor alone...

I wouldnt base off cost either...but TRD is a good brand and cost effecient. Just cause something cost alot doesnt mean its any better sometimes... :-P.
