any suggestions for a good tire/good price too for the northeast winters. dont want to spend too much but any suggestions are welcomed....

I always go with Nokian tires but they are pricey. Firestone makes a very inexpensive tire called "Winterforce". They are seriously cheap and apparently pretty comfortable driving. I haven't heard any complaints about their snow performance either.

I would look into it.

any set of snow/winter tires will work, from what i've seen they all perform awesome.

 

Check consumer reports...they test all of the tires that they review extremely well....bridgestone blizzaks...i don't use em, I use all-seasons, but consumer reports rates it highly
