Default tranny cooler

will this work with a 5 speed? would it be a worthwhile mod?... not sure how it would look, work with my turbo'd box..

any info on this?

transmission coolers are for automatics.

Don't you have to have a transmission first?

Seriously though, Darren is right. Any word from ZPI yet? Whats the 411 on your car?

manual transmissions "bath" in gear oil, in the case. There is nothing to pump the gear oil through a cooler, an automatic trans. constantly pumps fluid, and is more sensitive to high temps., which is why the coolers are soley designed for autos. It would serve no use on a manual.

sweet man thx for the info...
the reason i ask was because i was browsing thru a new issue of superstreet... steve's(bbist) xB is in there, blah talk about how fast it is blah blah, 140whp, haha no big deal, and i saw a tranny cooler and dont have any knowledge of this to be honest... thx for the info..

check that out... it is addicting, expecially when u see ur car... and there is a new vid of the turbo versa they did, towards the end u see my car up on the lift when they pull it into the shop... kinda cool to me...

three four more weeks and she will be done i hope... kenny will give me a two week window so i can find a flight out there..
