Default well I've done a bit of sound system upgrading....

I decided to go all Alpine, but I am quite happy with the sound....

Sirius with full digital into the head unit

3 1/2" Alpine 2 ways in the dash
6 1/2" Alpine 2 ways in the doors
5 1/4" Alpine 2 ways in the rear
single 10" Alpine S-10 in a custom box to fit in the rear ( so I could still get in the rear storage area)

Alpine 450 mono Amp
Alpine 9856 head unit with remote
Sirius Replay R sat. unit

not bad, but not super

I like it, I wish I had seperates, but it is quite tight. I'm not into really big boom, so the single 10 in a sealed box is great for just the right amount of punch. some won't like it. it's a great sounding system, but I want better imaging

if you want some sound deadening material then join ScionSmoke.com and check out what our sponsors offer, it will make a big difference in the quality.

might want to make some airflow for that amp being in there so it doesnt over heat and fry on you... other than that, sweeet... love the alpine equipment...

Looks like a nice streetable system to me. Should sound good. I have found that one brand systems generally work very well as long as that brand is a good one and Alpine certainly qualifies. I like the dash display very sharp!!

I love alpine too.
I have the IVA D310 HU

I went with the type x components in front and back the Alpine pdx sub amp (1.1000) and pdx 4.125 for the components.

the only thing that isn't alpine is the subs, and I will probably upgrade those later.

In my opinion Alpine makes the best audio equip out there, but that's just me.
