4.13.07!!! Here we are to worship concert!! UPDATES!!!
Hey guys and gals. As mentioned above, there is a benefit concert for my local church, Most Holy Trinity in San Jose on Friday, April 13 2007.
You might be asking benefit for what? Well, we (the music ministry at MHT) are trying to raise funds for a new grand piano (ours is REALLY old..lol), a house drumset (one that stays and is specifically for the church), and all rest of the proceeds will go towards the music ministry (i.e. Microphones, Speakers, etc.). BTW I sing in the 6pm Sunday mass.. lol
We are currently looking for sponsors, and help just speading the word. And yes, sponsors will get a spot in the program. :D
On a personal level, if I can get enough Scions to come through, I am going to try to get a special parking so there can be a mini-showoff in the parking lot before (and possibly after the show), and also a special incentive for the first bunch Scion drivers

"Here We Are to Worship
The goal of the April 13, 2007 Here We Are to Worship Concert is to raise money for the music ministry of the Most Holy Trinity Parish and provide an opportunity for talented music ministers to experience ministering in a concert-like environment. The April 13, 2007 concert features the talents of the 6:00pm Sunday Night Choir, Friends of Jesus, SELAH 12:15, 7Mansions, and the MHT School Choir.
As a fundraiser, the Here We Are to Worship Concert, will help to send music ministers to congresses, conventions, and workshops that encourage growth in their ministry, growth in their relationship with their faith, and growth within themselves. Additional proceeds will help to obtain new instrumentation, new sound equipment, and worship aides to improve the conditions of music ministry."
Also if you are interested in helping by sending stuff (monetary or items for the raffle please message me)(You or your organization will be featured on the flyer and the program too!).
