Ok kids I'm back. I have been on vacation for the past few weeks and it has been interesting. Wifey and I decided to stay in the states this year. Next year I am shooting for Japan. Anyways, I have been shopping non-stop and exposing my poor baby to all types of ____.
I take a ride to a local store and spot a bargain on some "dice" valve stem covers, only $2. Sweet...I take them and tell my daughter that these have a shelf life on a car. They will be stolen in a few days. Sure enough somewhere between the 3-4th day they were stolen, but wait included with the theft was a lovely 6 inch scratch on the driver's rear door. Lucky me  Good thing I had toch up paint which doesn't really match but it makes it less obvious.
Last ...I curb my rim yesterday. I just can't win. I think that I will be driving my Grand Prix more. I have better luck with that car.

Dont worry. My mom bought a 40,000 04 maxima. It wasnt even registered yet and i ran it into a fence. Messed up the whole back door. I know how you feel.

The one thing that scares the crap out of me is that there aren't any bumper rails on the sides of the xB leaving the considerable size doors wide open to damage in parking lots. My wife likes this feature as now I drop her off at the door wherever we go and I park in the most remote spot I can find.

I've seen people that have added it, you can get it at Pep boys or a good detail shop can usually do them. Personally I think it looks awful.

I always try to park next to a curb or something to at least protect one side. It helps that the xB is small, so it gives more space around the edges of a parking space. I have this phobia of hitting the lip on the curb so I always stop short of it but the Box still doesn't stick out.
