I REALLY want to install the TRD Clutch and was wondering how it feels and perfoms. Does it help or hinder w/ normal driving? Any information will be very helpful. Thanks

Light action, smooth engagement, and minimum stress on the operating components. George scionara 12-10-2003, 09:47 PM Question: What is wrong with the stock clutch? Is is slipping? George I agree with George, why change something that's working perfectly fine. If your car is bone stock replacing the clutch is just a waste of money and time. G-Force 12-10-2003, 10:05 PM maybe he has some type of forced induction we don't know about and needs the added clamping force? :?: joedjin 12-11-2003, 04:07 PM Thanks! Just wondering. Only dreams of forced induction. Other than that... Just Curious. :D :D Wraith 12-14-2003, 05:58 AM one piece of advise for you XB and XA guys ... you guys share the same clutch with the MR2 spyder, Echo, and Corolla. You can use the clutch for any of these cars... joedjin 12-14-2003, 08:24 AM thanks Wraith SoCalbBox 12-14-2003, 06:57 PM I have 11k on the odometer and my clutch is slipping. Definately taking it back to the dealership. I don't race or do any real serious driving, I mean its a box c'mon. Coming from a turbo type r , there's no need to run the box into the ground. I bet its gotta be the damn wheels. Wraith 12-15-2003, 03:39 AM The clutches you have a choice with other than the TRD clutch is -ACT extreme Clutch made for the MR spyder -Spec Clutch made for the MR2 spyder or the Echo ( this is my choice, if anyone is interested I can introduce you to a dealer) -Exedy Clutch for the MR2 spyder joedjin 12-20-2003, 07:46 AM The clutches you have a choice with other than the TRD clutch is -ACT extreme Clutch made for the MR spyder -Spec Clutch made for the MR2 spyder or the Echo ( this is my choice, if anyone is interested I can introduce you to a dealer) -Exedy Clutch for the MR2 spyder I am definately interested in hooking up w/ your dealer friend!
