Default Problem with tranny at startup

The other day when I had my oil changed I had them change the tranny oil as well. I have a 5 speed and it has 65000 miles on it. After they changed the oil, this problem started happening. When I start my car in the morning or a cold start..my car is in neutral and I Press the clutch in....turn the key and let the clutch out when its started. However, when I let the clutch out...the car jumps a bit and moves forward as if i were in gear..but im in neutral. It is only a quick little buck. If the ebrake is pulled..like it normally is...the rpms just drop low as if there was a load on the engine. After all of this.....when the car is still cold shifting from 1st to 2nd is just about impossible. I know from before that the 1-2 shift isnt smooth when cold...but this is just impossible. Now after the car is warm, shifting is smoother than ever. So i took the car back to the shop and they put in a lighter weight oil...the stock weight...and that did not fix the problem.Could this be a clutch issue? Any help is great.

I'd definitely have it looked at from somebody who knows what they're talking about. That doesn't sound normal and it doesn't sound like it is the tranny fluid. Nevertheless, i'd recommend throwing redline mt-90 in there for the transmission fluid. It is very much worth it and REALLY smooths out shifts and eliminates most of those issues. But like I said, that doesn't sound like the tranny fluid. Its very strange that there would be a load on the engine with the car in neutral.

Does it still 'buck' a bit if you start the car with the stick in 1st, then shift into neutral before letting go of the clutch? Just in trying to diagnose the problem, i'm wondering if it would still jump if you move it in and out of gear a few times before letting go of the clutch with the car in neutral.

weird, but my guess is one of the clutch cylinders needs to be replaced, probably the slave, or something is up with your shift linkage

possibly the tranny oil is so thick at start-up(cause it sure would be here, its like 4 outside)it acts like a torque converter in an auto.....

just a guess
