I was the only xa owner to attend thank god for your help with your info if i wouldnt have handed them your 8 pages of post the would have been dissapointed!

I will be posting a review on our website www.xscionwi.com soon! like this week along with pics of the jdm bros that will make our new xA!!! if you have any questions for me about what went on post them up! i can pretty much tell you anything since they keeped all thier top secrets tight but emo andy boby lang can lead me to spec since we did spend 2 1/2 hrs focus on the current xa and the #2. i learnded alot just from the ? they were asking me? so post up and i will do my best or wait for my article on www.xscionwi.com the 2 1/2 hours with them definatly worth the 5hour+ round trip!

the only thing that has been stiring in my mind is that meeting! I was only more intimidated that the only people to represent the midwest was toyotech (xb) Raul (xB) and my self! yes small turn out i know but small ment less off track!
I told them more power they agreed, i told them 0-60 in 6 our sub six they laughed!
i told them led lights they said very expensive I said "mabey for you but ill save money on tail light bulbs! it was funny! What i took Away from it was either they were playing to pretend they did not know alot about how crazy we are about scions our they were playing ignint and just wanted us to give them everything we had. befoere i left madtown i printed every thing off this post and gave it to them and they were so happy because me only one xa turned out! dont be suprized if if the hatch on the xa turn out to be a tailgate/hatch!!!!!!!!!!

did you see the renderings of the xB with the home theatre like setup that looked like a 50 inch screen with a projector inside? It basically makes the xA look like a big lounge chair? They were showing this the same time as the renderings of the new xA.

 

yes keep posting your ideas about the 2nd gen xa. the design team from japan were thrilled when i handed them the the print out of your posts. "this is just the kind of input we need" they said!!!!
they also need to know what you love about your xa right now!!!!
i showed them this thread so now they no how to get to it pluss they are probably spying on it from time to time!! so please continue to brain storm!!!!! I do have there email so i will keep them up to date on this thread!!!!

I own my xA for almost a year now and love the majority of what it has but there are some things I think would make me love it even more:

1) hook up the center console lighting to go on when the lights are turned on (just like in the tC)or to turn on when the door is pushed to open :D

2)better position the a/c venting so that the driver's hands don't block the air or freeze or cook with the blowing air :?

3) offer a moon roof as an option

4) why can't all the lighting inside match the LED lighting once you choose a color? (Why is Amber a standard color for the controls?)

5) include an outside temperature indicator as in the tC or at least offer the mirror which has the auto-dimming, temp indication and garage door openers as an option

with the exception of the a/c vents the rest could be "fixable" in the existing xAs.

 

1) make the vents "Mazda style" so that they can be closed. I hate having cold air blown onto my hands. . . and if I close the ventilation from outside air, the windows get fogged up

2) make them available in Thailand!

 

Your vents can be closed. Read your owners manual if it that hard to understand how to adjust them. I get so tired of people complaining that the vent blows on your hand. Adjust the vent.

 

I've read the manual. . . it seems that only the side ones close, but the ones in the center stack do not. You can close the inside/outside air circulation, but if you want the fan on, there will be some draft out of these vents, even with all air going to the floor.
