Whats the best springs & drop if you want 18's?

Default Whats the best springs & drop if you want 18's?

I am planning on throwin some 18x7.5 on my xB, what springs does anyone suggest for a good looking and riding drop? I was looking at the tiens........and what series tire fits best? Any info?

In order to keep the speedo reading as accurate as the stock wheel/tire setup, I'd go with 215/35s on 18" wheels.

As for lowering, I'd assuming you want to fill in the wheel well gap. That being said, I think you're on the right track with the Teins. I've got TRD springs, which lowered the car a little bit over an inch, and I think the Teins will lower it even more, maybe inch and a half or thereabouts. With the TRDs, the stock struts seem to be fine. Not sure how long they'd last with the Teins though...

Try goldlines... best springs for the money. Lifetime guarantee against sag and defects. Can't go wrong with them... 2" drop all around... it's perfect. And you won't be scratching anything either...

might I recomend some RS*R Springs available at www.precisionmuffler.com I also have that same wheel size and my ride is great! :D

yep my saggin 2" sprints kick a$$ lol...well its supposed to be a 2" drop, but now w/ the sagging its like 2.5 so teh cars almost tucked on all 4's lol i like how it looks but rides like a$$ oh well...time to upgrade to full on coilovers =P

How much bigger are the 225/40/18 series tires verses the 215/36/18's? Would the still fit well with a close to 2" drop? I dont want to sacrifice the ride qualitly too much......I got a kid commin in a couple months.

I went with the tanabe springs. They have a little bounce to them. $170.00 .
