Meccatune HID bulbs...Universal?

Meccatune HID bulbs...Universal?
I have a Meccatune HID kit and one of the bulbs burnt out. Are all HID bulbs universal? Can i purchase a different brand of HID bulbs and plug it into my current ballast?

You'll prolly need a rebased D2R or D2S bulb.
For example if you are using the oem reflector housing it will require you use a 9006 based D2R bulb.
Any color temp and any brand will work. Tho its best to buy them in pairs since the color will change slightly over the life of the bulb.
