I went to turn on my A/C and no air .The light comes on checked fuse and was good anyone had this prob.

hmmm .. check and see if hte compressor is coming on .. just look down and listen/ watch for it to engage.... it a place to start .... hey is ee your in surpirse. az.. my company might expand out to that city/ area.. how is it?

 

When mine stopped blowing cold air it was because a rock pierced the condenser. Not covered under warrentee.

Had to file an Ins claim. So I filed for all damage on the front end.

Tim (yelosub) said his wasnt working for quite awhile then it just came back on thursday night. That sounds strange..

He's right...Mine quit working also...The light for the A/C button came on but no fan...It was out for almost two weeks, too busy to make it to the dealer...Then on the Chino Bandito night I was driving home in the pouring rain and all of a sudden it came back on...It's been working ever since...Not sure what the problem was to begin with...I also checked the fuses and everything appeared to be ok!

 

i turned it on to day and it worked.sounds like the same prob as tim.

 

Mine didn't work for a day, but works fine now. Wierd.

 

Yea mine worked than i stoped at the store got back in the box and it didnt work dont understand

 

it might be a fuse check it!!

 

could it need charged? The pressure switch won't let the compressor run if it's low and it may be affected by temperature or something.

Why am I even doing this? I'm no F'ing mechanic either!

 

In my old Civic, the fan stopped working. I tried replacing the resistor pack (the gadget that controls the fan speed via electrical resistance) but ultimately I had to have the blower unit replaced.

 

Mine quit at about 70k miles. the dealer wanted about $1200.00 to replace the compressor. I got a new one put in and working for about $300. Let me know if you need some info.
