Default Planning a Trip Soon

What's up everyone? My wife and I are planning a trip to the Great Northwest, in particular, Seattle. What is there to do out in this rainy city besides the Space Needle? Where are the hot spots and also how is the nightlife? Can we drive somewhere else, such as another neighboring state to enjoy something else?
Any info would greatly be helpful...thanks.

BTW, we are planning on going out there at the end of July.

Pioneer square is the nightlife area for seattle, if you want a nice dinner, look up the Pink Door, great lil itallian place in Pikes place market.

As for heading to another state, you can always go to oregon but thats a good 3+ hour drive south, you could always head north to Vancouver, BC or check out the many islands in the sound.

If you come out at the right time it could be Seafair, which is when the hydroplanes, blue angels, and all that fanfare is in town. Which is in July (i think) just not sure on the date.

As for rain? dont worry about it, its July itll be 75-85 degrees with barely a cloud in the sky each day!

One side trip you could take, is head to the eastern side of the state on go on a wine tour in the lower yakima valley!

Drive up to Everett and eat at Alligator Soul. Best cajun food in the western half of the United States. There are only 2 of them nationally, the other one is in Louisiana.

Crunchy chicken gumbo is SEX.

There's always Snoqualmie falls, & Mt. Rainer during the day. These are both great places to see the sights and get some pictures.

Dont forget that many of the trails and access points to Rainier were damaged and under repair due to the flooding.

there is the under ground tour of the first Seattle I herd it is interesting if you like history, there are the duck tour they drive you around showing you the city then they drive right in to Lake Washington and continue the tour. If you want to see some sites I would recomend Snoqualmie falls they have a great little resort type of place you can have a fancy dinner, some time in the wonderful spa. ( my wife loves this spa) or you can just check out the falls
