Default Urethane Motor Mounts....Question

Yes I know this topic has been beaten to death. One thing I rally dislike going from my old Probe with urethane mounts to a stock TC is the TC there is just too much slop when shifting. Now back when I owned a Probe I had gotten in contact with a big name company in the Mazda world. Worked with them at first on motor mounts for the 93-97 Ford Probe. We came up some a nice setup. This is how they turned out

We ended up selling hundreds of sets of them, and everyone loved them. Now I would really like to try and get them to make some for the TC. This company is GREAT when it comes to mass producing mounts and not having any backorder. Now I know the TC mounts arent as easy of a design as the Probes were, however I am still interested to see if it would be worth it to get this company to make some. I had already asked them and he told me to send him a stock set of TC mounts and he would get to work on a Prototype to see if they would be easily made.

Would everyone be interested in me looking into this. If so does anyone have a stock set of mounts they would sell me? I have not mentioned the name of the company mainly becuase I dont want this to be seen as Un-Authorized advertising.

Cost I cant say for sure, but Probe mounts for front and rear are $165

I thought the Speed Source mounts were on backorder and some pro-orders were never shipped. I may be mistaken.

This post can be removed...I didnt realize that Speed Source was ontop of things with the mounts. Or atleast it seems that way.

yeah you have to leave the front mount free and rock the back of the motor or lift up the rear and it should come right out

Our mounts are in stock - and ready to ship out - no orders were left open

The only hold up at the beginning - but that seemed to stem from the large amount of people trying to get in on the first 10 sets!

When we were thinking about producing these, we ran 10 initial sets to test the waters, and verify that the tC community was interested in poly engine mounts. After the first 10 sold out - we decided to continue making more, and thus we have full stock on more mount kits now.

So yeah, I am not trying to butt into your thread - just clearing up an misunderstanding that might have been left out there. All orders were filled, and there are no current poly backorders to speak of.
