Another Headlights Thread...a little different though...
Hi All,
I've done plenty of searching and reading about replacing headlights on our tC's and was able to discern that eBay headlights are NOT the way to go. So I've decided that I would like to get '08+ projector headlights for my '07.
So here is my question...the OEM headlights from TRD sparks are $200+ per side. Has anyone had experience ordering OEM replicas from places like RockAuto? Do they last? Are the projectors any good for HIDs?

I understand that they are halogen projectors with squirrel finders...but I am just not willing to spend the money to get HID projectors retrofitted into my headlights.
If I could save about $200 on this project...I'd love to go this way. But I will not sacrifice product quality for price (to an extent...).
Thank you all in advance for you responses.

I saw these. 200 a set. Don't have any feedback on them though. Maybe someone here has. Save you your 200.

Honestly just get the 08'+ OEMs and put a GOOD HID Kit in them. After all the retrofits and threads discussions, I'm still running my modified 08'+ with TRS HID Bulbs and Denso ballasts. You wont find any aftermarket headlights that will beat the OEM's unless retrofitted.

the Tc I have, my son had it before me, he replaced the stock head lights, and could not get the HEI lamps to work, I found that after I moved the lamps he had in the low beam to the hi beam, then putting the HEI in the low beam, they worked, only problem, you have to readjust the height on them, after that I have had trouble with the HEI lamps not coming on, one side, I have found that the mating couplers, do not hold together, I taped them together, and since then, no problems
