Fresh engine swap.... dash light woes
Just finished our 2.4L swap out of a 2008 xb, and installed it into a 2008 xb. It was a stock replacement motor and everything went together smoothly. After the first start we turned off the xB and noticed the check engine light, abs, tpms, vsc, and traction control lights were all on. We read the code and ended up replacing the front o2 sensor and the check engine light is gone. However the other lights are all still on.
I did some searching and lots of people have this problem. My question is, I noticed the front pads are down to metal. Would that cause any of these lights to come on in these xb's? I was under the impression that if the rear wheel speed sensors were bad it should throw a CEL right? So the rear speed sensors shouldn't be setting off these lights without a CEL? Do i need to drive the vehicle for a long time to set computer data and maybe the lights go off? Thanks in advance.

I'd double check your connections going into your dash to the gauges, I had to have mine replaced, at Toyota, and they had a hard time figuring it out. 1200 dollars later i had to have a whole new gauge panel.
