2013 xB Electrical Wiring Diagram - "content unavailable"
I wanted the electrical wiring diagram for my 2013 xB2. Dealership advises the book is not available, to instead get it here online at Toyota Tech Info.
I purchase a 2-day subscription $15 but my VIN is for Canada so the site has no listings, but I dig and get the ECM pinout and a bit more. Not enough to add accessories or even stereo stuff !
I contacted Toyota Canada and this is their response:
Dear Mr. __:
Thank you for your recent e-mail.
We have noted your inquiry; however, this information is not available.
Although we are unable to provide the information that you have requested, we thank you for taking the time to write.
Sincerely,

Does anyone have suggestions? I need to tap into IGN and ACC power by the glovebox and poking wires I'm not having luck, and I'm not sure what the modules are.

The (shifter) power outlet is only good for 1 amp (!) and really skinny wires leading to it.
I was looking for IGN2 and ACC wires. I couldn't find them in the harnesses by the glove box or at any modules there.
IGN1 cuts out during cranking but IGN2 maintains power during cranking, so you don't reboots etc. on gear.
Ended up taking IGN1 from the stereo harness, but some wires did not make sense. For example, there is a WH/BLU thick wire that maybe AMP+ but I'm not sure of its source.
I took ILL+ power for sex lamps from the stereo harness as well.

You can get those wires at the backside of the key cylinder. I don't remember what the colors were off hand but that is where I got mine from. Just use a DMMto test the wires so you don't damage anything.

Between 2013 (looking at harness) and 2010 (wiring diagram), about half of the radio wires have different color codes but many are the same function. I was saved by the factory stubby adapter cable from the Pioneer head unit to the xB's harness, as Pioneer used some standard color codes:

Toyota has used the same radio harness shell since the late 80s on every single car they make excluding those with premium sound systems (JBL for example). If you need wiring information I listed all the wiring information need to do stereo, alarm and remote start work on the vehicle years ago. For whatever reason it was never stickied.
If you need more let me know and I can check at work, I have access to all data. If I dont respond quickly on here trying messaging me on facebook.
