Default The Box Is Back!

17 days and $5000 later. I could not tell that anything was ever wrong with it. They even replaced a rear headrest because the fabric had a small scuff.

I can't wait to get back to my projects on this ride.

 Should have guessed that. Did you end up needing to pay for the parts or did her insurnace cover it?

Default Insurance

My comprehensive covered it initially, and they will get the money back from her insurance. There were a total of six cars involved, so they did not want to start settleing up until they know if she will have enough coverage for everybody. If she doesn't we will all get a share. They had high coverage though, so I do not think it will be an issue.

I would not want to have her insurance premiums for the next several years.

The car is like brand new. It had the following done.

1. Repair both right doors
2. Repair Hatch and rear bumper
3. Replace Rear Glass
4. Replace left rear glass
5. Replace left rear headrest (fence block bounced off of it)
5. Repair Roof
6. Repair front hood
7. Repair right mirror
8 Interior glass cleanup (8 hours labor)
9. Repair and refinish right rear wheel (looks perfect)
10 repair and refinish interior trim
11. Lots of paint
12. Lots of buffing

They did some incredable work. Of course they did not have any traditional impact damage to deal with, it was all just cosmetic. The paint work turned out amazing!
