Default Anyone have experience with apr GT cf mirrors

Any help would be appreciated. Are they ridiculously small when on the car? How's visibility at night and in the rain? Any pics besides the one below?

Yeah, I'd get Craft Square mirrors if they had mounts for my car...as well as if I had money coming out my bunghole. :D

I have some F1 style cf mirrors. Sort of the same style I had on my Formula Ford racer.

They are TINY. They are hard to adjust to. I finally got used to them, but I recently took them off when it started raining again.

Steve has the one-off APR mirrors, those are those ones I originally wanted. Brent was at APR and said that they wil be releasing those in the next few months.

Mike, I don't know how xA mirrors mount, but I made mine out of 1/4 inch Lexan.

It's a nice look and it does take a little getting use to like squirrel says, but the main issue is if you send your car out to wash or go to a show, they are a pain in the **** to adjust.

I absolutely love my mirrors but I hate the maintenance...

I'd be more concerned about the way the five bolts look and the way the plastic edging wrinkles on the top corner of the backing plate. They look sloppy to me.

I agree... I think those mirrors look like crap. They look like they belong on a '79 Ford pickup truck.

But, gee, they're carbon fiber, and everyone knows any piece of crap made with carbon fiber is hot.

that is nice if you have all the CF mods racer look.
but one thing to consider, which also my problem, is you also need to find a cover for that black rubberize strip by the window glass. water might go inside, and I don't know if it will corrode something there.

also, do you rely on the mirrors when changing lane? here in CA if you take the exam and the instructor ask you to change lane and you did not turn your head, you'll fail.

another big help for me too, is I got those wide angle Broadway mirrors, you'll see almost everything on your rear.
