Default Question about shift know (auto)

I'm pretty sure I already know the answer, but I wanted to confirm with scionlife pros here.

I know that the TC auto shift know is NOT like most other import cars like: honda, acura, toyotas, ect. They have either a button on the side or a lever to depress in order to change gears.

The tc you simply just step on breaks and shift.

So, I want to clarify that I CAN indeed buy almost any shift know and simply screw it in right?

basically any shifter labeled MANUAL could still work. Right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

AUTO or MANUAL on a tc both just twist in.

no it's not the same, you will need like a tread type of spacer so it can fit. if you buy the shift **** from the dealer, then it will bring the piece that you need.

Doctor Isotope can make you a custom shift **** for your automatic that will screw right on w/no spacers or modifications.
