Default Ambient Lighting (LED)

I am getting a 2009 tC pretty soon and was wondering if the lighting is even worth the extra $250, sure it looks cool but is it really worth it? seems a little exspensive.

I just received my 09 SW tC with the lighting in it, and I absolutely love it! I was hesitant because I was thinking that I could wire it myself with computer Cold Cathodes, but the factory ones are great. The cup holder lights are not like the pic on the Scion site at all, it is just barely noticabe. Hope this helps you some.

Definatly not worth it. You can save yourself a lot of money and do it yourself or have someone help you.

And take the pic outta your sig.... against SL rules. Thanks.

Don't get them. I had them in my car when I bought it, and I just recently pulled them out to put in a different color. Go to oznium, and you can probably get cathodes and leds for the cupholders for less than $25

Not worth it, you can do a whole cathode set for 30 easily, and it wont be seen, or you could spend 200 for crappy led lit tubes that you can see the tube..eh

Yeah thats what I was thinking, they are as bright as the ones from my computer, didn't seem worth 250 at all.
