It was only when I went to check my tire pressure last week that I even noticed it, but the little Scion Badges at the center of my right two rims were missing. The first one is the back right, followed by the front right. I first assumed they were just stolen (can they even be easily removed?) but then I realized that I had my tires rotated the week before, is it possible they "fell off" during the process? I'm going to take it back to the dealership on Monday but mainly I was just wondering why there's a metal peg in the front wheel but not in the rear.
its just a cover, it pops rite out.....
sorry to hear man, hope somethin good comes ur way

that metal peg in the front is your CV joint. it transfers the motion of the transmission to the wheels. the rear doesn't have it because it's front mounted FWD car and there's no transmission in the back. the back wheels are being pulled so they are just connected to the rear suspension only.
