about a month ago i got my rotors resurfaced and new pads. ever since then my brake pedal has been a little wobbly. not a tremendous wobble but when you hold it and push it side to side it moves about a good quarter inch back and forth. and when i push the pedal in sometimes it makes a clicking noise. any suggestions on what to do? i checked the bolt and looks fine should i bring it in to the dealer and have them check it out?
yea its def not the clutch man, def the brake. i think its making the clicking noise because its a litle loose. do you or anyone elses brake pedal move a little bit or is it really sturdy. my clutch and gas pedal do not move like my brake pedal does...
mmmm my break pedal moves side to side little also... but i noticed this since i bought the car :X so its been 20k miles.. i should check if its tight. how do i do this? put my head to where the break pedal is and look to see if its loose?
yeah.. my brakes click once when i press the pedal.... but it happened because i was stupid... tried to clean the caliper and i used wd40 to clean it... OMG.. dont do it.
since then my brakes clicks... you need to regrease them..
lol what happens when u use wd40?? makes them very slick???
do not use wd40 on your brakes. it will wash all the greasing out.. thats why is making the click noise every time u press the pedal. its not clicking constantly.. its 1 click every time u push the pedal and the brake pads engaging.
i think im gonna go check out my brake pedal when i get outta work....i dont recall it making a noise....

my brake pedal doesnt make clicking noises, but it does have a little bit of play left and right...maybe about quarter inch. im guessing its just like that, i also noticed it when i bought the car.
