Default Chrome rear wiper cover

Anyone else have the "chrome" rear wiper cover? I have one installed, but I think it's causing the wiper blade to not make full contact . I'll get streaking or no contact at all on the inside area of the blade. Anyone have this problem?

I had those problems without a chrome cover. That thing is just useless back there. I just took mine off and keep it well covered with Rain-X...

Note to THE DON: You can find 'em on eBay

Yeah, mine works well enough to keep the crap off and to keep my field of vision clear in the rain. But the inside radius of the arm is streaky compared to when the cover was off. I'll have to fool around with it I guess.

I know a couple peeps in the area that are running them or have them yet to install. I'll check them out tomorrow at the meet and see.

I have the chrome cover on mine and have never had any problems with it. Maybe yours is not snapped on correctly.

The ONLY car that I thought did a better job was (forgive me) the PT. I drove pass one in the rain, and man, that wiper almost cleared the rain off the entire window surface.
I guess I was going through WIPER ENVY!

did you guys take off your rear wiper because of your stereo systems. i know i took mine off because of mine because it skipped around on th eback window when the bass hit. so maybe it doesnt have anything to do with it being chrome or not.
