I purchased an '05 XB with 18s on it from the dealer. My GF has damaged the wheels twice causing me to have them repaired. I was thinking of getting a spare 18 with tire and mounting it on the rear hatch. I remember seeing a heavily modded XB with this wheel/tire mod before, but I can't seem to find any pictures of it anymore. Can anyone help?

 

i know the box youre talking about. the pics were of it at the beach, it had 20's on it, bagged i believe, fully shaved and the rim and tire mounted on the hatch. i searched and couldnt find it. i havent seen that post in over a year, probably close to 2 years actually.

 

buy some stock steelies so your gf can ruin those instead of the 18"s simple as that

its not about a gf ruining rims. its about being logical and functional, rims and potholes are a match made in heaven. i don't like having to call AAA whenever a rim is ruined. i rather have a spare ready to go in case of any mishap.
