It looks pretty good man. I don't know if I understand what you did with the gap on top? It doesn't look like theres a gap so it seems to have worked. Just wondering if you could enlighten me on that part.

when u install the grillcraft grill on the top portion its made so the two top bolts hook to ur stock grill...so theres this gap on top if u take it out(stock grill) like a line...so i took some double sided tape and while it was rolled on one side, i sprayed it black to match the black grill...and just stuck it on the top portion where there was a gap/..lol srry i ddint know how to explain it and still dont but do u get what im saying?

ah yeah...i understand...you filled in the gap with painted tape. sounds like it might not look good, but it sure does. Is the tape still sticky as to allow dirt to adhere to it? you say you painted it while on the roll....so while it was on its side somewhat like this > @ < you painted it like that? I think i understand.

and yeah, i too wish they would just replace the stock grille.

That's odd, when I installed my grills, I didn't have any issues with a gap on the top one. And I didn't use the stock grill either.

i used the metal clips to "pinch" screw it to the top. i only drilled a hole for the bottom.
